We are currently working with our partner Crown Paints using their Smart Maintenance programme, their own concept in cyclical maintenance.

Developed for clients as a response to the Best Value initiative within the public sector, it has at its heart a three-way partnership between building owner, contractor and paint manufacturer.

The ultimate aim of Smart Maintenance is to enhance tenant satisfaction while achieving cost savings and cost-predictability over the life cycle of the building. These aims are achieved by combining appropriate paint systems with maintenance programmes specifically tailored to individual buildings.

The key objectives of Smart Maintenance are:

Optimisation of maintenance budgets

Reduction of future preparation and maintenance costs

Development of site-specific programmes

Achievement of ‘Best Value’  criteria and targets

Improvement in levels of tenant satisfaction
